In a moment of doubt I was confronted with the truth
I was petrified and certain I was being used
And I was counting off ambitions and kill’em one by one
Like Jesus on the cross I was sticking to my guns
And I was looking for a friend to try and help me out
But the silence was deadly ’cause no one was around
And I was thinking, I was choking like I thought I never could
